After the building improvements in 2019, the Hotel Post Krimml will be newly certified as the Hohe Tauern Health Hotel with rooms and apartments specifically suitable for guests with allergies.
In selecting materials for the furnishings of the rooms and holiday apartments, great care is being taken to ensure a suitable choice is made for asthmatics and those with allergies, and to meet the strict criteria of the Hohe Tauern Health Hotels when it comes to the reduction of fine dust and allergens.
Healing properties of the Krimml waterfalls
The spray thrown up by the Krimml waterfalls acts as an extraordinary natural therapy for asthmatics and allergy sufferers. Various clinical studies have shown the beneficial effect of the waterfalls. Inhalation therapies at the Krimml waterfalls last between 7 and 21 days (in the summer months) and are particularly suitable for adults and children with respiratory illnesses caused by allergies. If certain medical requirements are met, the Hohe Tauern health therapies may be covered by German health insurance (please ask your relevant health insurers in advance).
